If you purchase a Story Dedication or Story Board, a custom message is required for the plaque. Once your Story Dedication QR Plaque is activated, you'll have the opportunity to personalize the message that appears on it. If you choose to add a contributor, they’ll also have the ability to customize the messaging. Story Board customizations will go directly through out Community Support Team.
If SeeMyLegacy admin will be customizing the Story Dedication, follow the below process:
Community Customizing Story Dedication
1. Click Manage
2. Select Plaques
3. Navigate to In-Use QR Plaque
4. Click Customize QR Plaque
5. Enter Custom Message

Three fields are customizable on the plaque:
- First Line (To) - Who the plaque and item is being donated to
- Second Line (Plaque Message) - Custom message
- Third Line (From) - Who the plaque and item is being donated by
6. Hit Save

If you've added a contributor to provide the custom plaque message, be sure to review how and when a SeeMyLegacy admin will step in to support the process.
Contributor (Resident) Customizing Story Dedication
1. Community will receive email once custom plaque text is submitted by contributor
2. Community will review message and make any necessary edits
3. Click ‘Order and Print’
- This will automatically notify our team to begin creating the custom plaque.
No need to worry—contributors cannot order the plaque without your approval. Only SeeMyLegacy admins have the ability to place the final Order & Print request, so you remain in full control.
Story Board Customization
Story Boards require a custom message, and our team is here to help you every step of the way. Since customization isn’t available directly in the app, your SeeMyLegacy support rep will work with you to collect your message and provide a design proof for your review and approval before printing.
