Once you are ready to share a Digital Story, the first step is to Activate one of your QR Plaques. 

Follow the steps below to Activate Your QR Plaque:

Activating Plaque

• Click Manage → Plaques
• Find the QR Plaque you want to Activate and click “Activate QR plaque”
• In the Activation Pop-up you will need to do two things:
  • Connect QR Plaque to an Item - All QR Plaques need to be connected to a Donated Item. Search by the name of the Donor or by Item ID # to find the Donated Item. Tip: Refer to your Campaigns Activity Log to find the Donated Item.
  • Invite a Contributor (Optional) - Enter the name and email of the person you would like to share the story. You will have the option to add or remove Contributors at any time. Tip: Refer to your Campaigns Activity Log to find the Contact Information
• Once you have Connected the QR Plaque to an Item and are satisfied with the Contributors click the “Activate” button

After Activating QR Plaques

• Once Activated, your QR Plaque will now move to the In-Use QR Plaque Grid, where you or your contributor will be able to:
  • Customize Plaque Message: Customize the message printed on the physical QR Plaque (For Story Dedications only)
  • Create and Edit Digital Story: Add Photos, captions, and links to the Digital Story.
  • Preview Story: Get a preview of the Digital Story as you are creating.
  • Download QR Code: This downloadable QR Code is linked to the Digital Story, allowing for you to share the Story in creative ways.
